Herbal hair colors - the most beautiful colors from the world of plants and healthy, shining hair

Plant colors have accompanied man in his development over millennia. With industrialization, their importance quickly declined and they no longer play a role in our world of mass products. But where they still exist - or again - they become mediators. They can be used to build bridges to the elements and rhythms of nature. This gives the plant colors a new task that has so far been neglected. Their harmonious charisma and their beneficial, even soul-warming effect make them a real “therapeutic material” that needs to be used!

Plants and colors have always fascinated me, especially as a hairdresser I was looking for access to natural hair dyeing early on. Above all in the plant world we find a variety of natural pigments, in countless colors they make our world colorful. The special thing about it is that it has been known for thousands of years that natural pigments color our main hair.

Only a small part of the vegetable pigments and mineral colors are suitable for the human hair. This is particularly tricky with natural, white hair, so we should take a closer look. Discoloration is not easy to correct. Because the rediscovery of plant colors for human hair has fascinated me for decades and I can count countless satisfied customers to my wealth of experience to this day, I would like to pass on my knowledge of plant-based, natural hair dyeing to all interested people. In my opinion, whether they are hairdressers or not is not of great importance. Whether for you personally and for individual use or when exercising a personal care profession.

WORKSHOPS Basic knowledge about herbal hair colors and their application

The aim of the one-day basic workshop is to teach the participants the basics of using our herbal hair colors in practice. We will show you how to achieve good results with plant colors quickly and without nasty surprises in everyday life.

Our basic workshop is aimed at hairdressers who are experienced in the use of herbal hair colors and who would like to keep up to date with the current state of affairs, as well as hairdressers and private individuals without experience with herbal hair colors who want to get information. The workshops take place in small groups of 4 to a maximum of 6 people and are offered in both German and English. We primarily use first-time customers as models.

In our day course you will acquire basic knowledge of natural hair dyeing and learn the application technique as a practical method:

  • Which natural raw materials are suitable for the production or extraction of nourishing herbal hair colors? (Roots, trunk, flowers, leaves, minerals)
  • Which herbal hair colors are suitable or recommended for which hair texture and natural hair color. And with which not.
  • Health aspects when using pure organic herbal hair color.
  • Care aspect for skin and hair with a pure organic herbal hair color.
  • Health risk with non-pure natural herbal hair dyes that have been mixed with heavy metals, synthetic pigments and general toxins from nature or from pesticides, which are unfortunately still required by the raw material suppliers today.
  • The direct impact on hair care and health.
  • Correct preparation and application of the individual color choice (application techniques)
  • Texture of skin and hair

Henna

Henna is a mud-like substance that clogs and envelops the cuticle of hair. This coating can lead to dryness and damage to the hair over time. Henna has been used since ancient times to change hair color and decorate the body. Henna continues to be a very popular option for those looking to change their hair color. But what is henna and how does it differ from our Hairprint Color Restorer?

There are two types of henna: Compound Henna and Body Art Quality (BAQ) Henna. Compound henna powders or creams, which are often produced outside of Europe, contain, in addition to Lawsonia Inermis and / or Indigo, non-disclosed ingredients. These ingredients can include metal salts, additional coloring agents (if an ingredient listed contains a color - red / blue / yellow / purple / black - these are additional coal tar or chemical coloring agents), additional vegetable coloring agents, lead and PPD. Metallic salts can stay in the hair for up to two years and turn purple,
Fade green or red.

Body Art Quality Henna (BAQ): Body Art Quality herbal hair color (Henna) consists only of Lawsonia Inermis and / or Indigo ingredients. You can get a certified analysis of the ingredients from the manufacture of your herbal hair color (henna) if you are not sure.
